- AEON Microfinance (Myanmar) confirms that COVID-19 positive case was found in one employee working at AEON Microfinance (Myanmar) Co., Ltd., Pearl Condo Office, Kabaraye Pagoda Road, Bahan Township, according to the laboratory result informed through Dala Hospital by Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS) on 27th September 2020. That employee has been working from home since 5th September 2020 as per the Company preventive measure.
- Contact tracing has been carried out for the employees who are close contact with the positive case. There are no other staff who have any symptoms of COVID-19 as of 27th September 2020. However, we will assist and support the Ministry of Health and Sports for contact tracing, and Company is supporting the employee till s/he will recover fully.
- In order to ensure the well-being of our customers, partners, and employees, AEON Microfinance (Myanmar) Co.,Ltd. has been complying with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Sports. Our actions taken since February 2020 include distribution of masks, face shields, gloves, and sanitizers to employees and measure temperature daily as well as for all customers coming into our counters to measure temperature and ensure customers wear masks followed by utilization of sanitizer. In addition, all of our counters are equipped with the counter shields since the COVID-19 cases increased in the region.
- AEON Microfinance (Myanmar) Co., Ltd. prioritizes health and safety of our customers, partners, and employees as our principles. We will continuously follow all preventive measures given by the Government and the Ministry of Health and Sports.
